We picked Lakeview for its walkability to all the restaurants and bars. This is what made us bring our famous Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl back in 2017 and continued with our Onesie Crawl and our famous Taco & Tequila Crawl happening on May 3rd this year.

The best thing about our Birmingham bar crawl is that it kicks off with an exciting registration party where all crawlers gather. Unlike other events, we don’t just hand you a wristband and send you on your way. At the registration party, you’ll receive your lanyard with a detailed map, swag, and a full list of drink specials, entertainment, and participating bars. Depending on our unique Bar Crawl USA theme, you may also get a welcome shot or taco tokens to redeem at participating bars like Moe’s Original BBQ, The Lumbar, Mayawell Bar, The Mayor, Slice Pizza & Brew, Denim on 7th, Innisfree Pub, Tin Roof, SideBar, and Mojo Pub.
Your digital map will guide you and hundreds of crawlers bar to bar, creating an unforgettable experience. Each stop is packed with fun until you reach our official after-party featuring DJ entertainment. Depending on the theme, we also offer exciting giveaways at the after-party. Make sure to check the event ticket description, as every crawl is uniquely designed with its own creative flair.

Bar Crawl USA’s events in Birmingham typically start with check-in at Tin Roof, where participants receive a lanyard with a scannable map. Each map has tabs attached for their included items like tacos for The Taco & Tequila Crawl. Then attendees walk from restaurant to restaurant exchanging their tearaway tabs from their maps for their included items like tacos for The Taco & Tequila Crawl. The lanyard and map also signify to the bar that you receive discounted themed drinks like margaritas, tequila shots, and local crafts. The crawl includes 6+ participating restaurants, primarily located in the Lakeview area. All restaurants are very close to each other making it all very walkable.

Our biggest Birmingham bar crawl typically happens in May for our Taco & Tequila Crawl. Spring is upon us so the weather is amazing for walking restaurant to restaurant, drinking margaritas, and eating delicious tacos. And we also host a Halloween in October and Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl in December.
What should I know before attending a bar crawl in Birmingham?
Make sure to bring your ID if you’re planning on drinking especially since all of our events are 21+. Parking is limited so ridesharing is encouraged. And if you are planning on indulging in margaritas, plan to Uber or Lyft.
